Hello: I just got the email below at an email address I have never published on the archive. Anybody else getting this stuff?
----------------------------------------------------------
Hello
My name is Happiness. i saw your profile today at www.archive.org and became intrested in you,i will also like to know you more, and if you can send an email to my email address,i will give you my pictures here is my email address (Happiness_h@yahoo.com) I believe we can move from here! Am waiting for your mail to my email address above because i have alot to tell you,
Lot's of love,Miss Happiness.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Personally, I think Happiness is Drumming. But that's just me.

Hope all my ol' pals on the Archive are doing well --- or, at least, as well as can be expected in this insane world. Relentless Life, hey(?) I just wish it would slow down for a moment or two.......

If possible, let me know if you've got any spam as well.

"Happiness" to all......

Your old and in the way comrade,
--- AshesRising

PS: I'm no longer bed-ridden so hopefully I will be able to share some gems with you fine folks. I appreciate your understanding, especially in light of the fact that I broke so many promises of sending out material over the past 18 months. I promise to be a better member moving forward. --- AshesHopefullyRising

..she looks like your basic, everyday "average joe" that one finds late at night way down, down, down by the docks of the city.

Geez, I got the same e-mail a few weeks ago. I thought I must be special or something. My heart is now truly broken and I don't know if I want to live any longer without "Happiness" in my life. She should change her name to "Joy" so I can reflect on these lyrics by Harry Nillson..

"Joy to the world was a beautiful girl
But to me Joy meant only sorrow"

Promises shmomesis

Glad to hear you are up on your feets

I do not recall seeing any spam like your spam, but then again my internet provider is pretty good about catching junk & spam and I usually just delete it all if I do not recognize the sender.

I get lots of spam with my own e-mail address in the 'from' spot, but it is all for blue pill type stuff and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't send myself blue pill spam (but you never know).

Well, hope you stick around some - I was just wondering "Where's Ashes, hope he's OK" just a few days ago.

Nice AUD I been listening too - nice Terrapin

jglynn1.2: .....great to hear from you. Got the "Terrapin" playin' now...

I got a good story regarding that date in history and the discovery of a star that was eventually named "Jerry Garcia." Coincidence that it was the same evening as "Close Encounters(?) ...yeah, if you believe in "coincidence." I put my faith elsewhere, however, so now I have to find the story about that damn star. [Another promise to break!]

I am trying to find a "Terrapin" from Springfield, MA that is one on my favorites (during the '77 - '79 era).

What's the longest amount of time you have ever sailed out at sea?

I sincerely hope you, the family and that dude with the health problems that you have helped go sailing in the past are all doing well,
--- AshesRising

EDIT: Here's the "Terrapin" from Springfield, MA that you may enjoy as well: [1979-01-15 --- one of the final shows with Donna & Keith. I like the extended "mystical" guitar break during "Lady with a Fan." The "Playin' in the Band" version is worth a listen as well.] Actually, the whole second set, minus "From the Heart of Me," is phenomenal.

I see posts like that on lots of forums but never saw them hit the emails... did you ever post it here for trading shows or anything?

Ask them for a picture.

Try and get them to help you get Lt Mohamed Uleyni's widow's get money out of a government holding account in nigeria with her help by sending money.

UPDATE

Ashes -

I know I am a day late to the response, but I received almost the exact same email to the email addy I used here at LMA. The only difference was the nubile young wench's name - Crystal instead of Happiness.

I proudly showed my wife of 25 years the email and told her that I had a secret admirer.

My world came crashing down when she fixed me with that stare that only wives can manage and said that "Crystal" was probably a 300 pound child molester named Cooter.

Hey its still better to have an admirer than none at all, right? The glass is half full, hopefully with one of those lovely whiskies you have described. Since my day was a bust i might be filling one soon myself.

Around my home the dog house is a relative thing. One never gets out. Occasionally i am able to get closer to the door though.

Sorry Ashes it was me. You know I have always had the hots for you!! I thought about throwing in a line about sharing a bottle of Cabernet that had hints of Nagasaki and a muir woods floor finish but i figured that was a dead give away.

Seriously though, glad to hear you are better and hope to see more of you here. btw don't be afraid to respond to an email, we have things to discuss!!

Ashes - I know we've never conversed that much, but I'm honestly glad to see you shining your light once more. It's good to have you back - and I hope your health continues to allow you to share your thoughts with us.
